I photographed Melissa and Luke’s wedding on July 23, 2017 with the ceremony and the reception held at the Olympic View Golf course in Victoria, BC, Canada. It was a beautiful, sunny day, a perfect day to photograph a wedding. Yes, sunlight can be a challenge for photographers, although there are ways around that. After the ceremony, we started to photograph the entire wedding group, then family portraits and after that, the bridal party as well as the bride and groom portraits. As you will see, the bride and groom portraits are more fun to photograph and that more creativity is put into them, to capture all the very special moments of their special wedding day.
Towards the evening hours, we went to the ocean beach for sea panoramic view portraits. After the wedding, I created a presentation of their wedding photographs, and they decided to have me start on a wedding Fine Art Book. This entails retouching and enhancing every image that is selected to go into the book, followed by the dynamic design layout. These unique and exceptional books are then produced in a top quality facility in New York City. Here are a few samples of the images that went into their wedding book. Melissa and Luke are wonderful people, and I feel very lucky to have been their wedding photographer. In fact, we’ve become good friends.
